Sam, a best friend to patrons in Chicago.

This was a real challenge!
Matching glass to fur is fun!


Stained glass looks different on both sides and different with light coming from behind or from the front. It might also be noted that the camera does not see like the eye.

To add spice the Sam was patinaed in black with the remaining lead polished silver. This makes Sam stand out!

Another feature, is the extension of the background outside the bevel border.



This work is finished with a solid walnut frame and tastefully signed and dated.

All in all, Sam was a very exciting project and I’ll never do it again, until the next time...
